DAY TO DAY ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Tel Aviv and transfer to Jerusalem

Upon your arrival at Tel Aviv Airport, your host will greet you and assist you with a transfer to Jerusalem. Jerusalem– the birthplace of the world’s three major religions in Israel. Check-in at your hotel for dinner and overnight. Your hotel is conveniently located near the Old City walls, shops, restaurants, and other city attractions, just a short cab ride away. Dinner and accommodation will be at your hotel.

Day 2: Jerusalem Guided Tour

Jerusalem is one of the most fascinating cities you have ever visited. An absolute must is the Temple Mount, so you must plan your time in Jerusalem around when you are allowed to visit if you are non-Muslim. The Temple Mount is the holiest place in the world for Jews and the third holiest place for Muslims, making it the most contentious site in the city.

You will also visit the Western Wall. Seeing the Western Wall for the first time will be one of those moments you will feel the magnitude of a beautiful spiritual place. It’s a moving scene, but one which is also full of joy beyond a festival-like atmosphere.

Enjoy visiting the Old City of Jerusalem and its highlights in the afternoon. This is the kind of city where you set out to go from A to B, and it should take 20 minutes, but an hour later, you still haven’t arrived because you found so much to see along the way! Many sites in Jerusalem would be major tourist attractions in any other city, but here they are not even marked! You’ll get a lot from simply striking out on foot and even getting a little lost! No worries; your guide is here to show you around. Your Historic visit to Jerusalem will conclude at the Church of Holy Sepulchre. Return to your hotel for dinner and accommodation.

Day 3: Jerusalem - Yad Vashem - Holocaust Museum

Our morning tour of Jerusalem starts at the Holocaust Museum. It will be a very sobering morning, but the Holocaust Museum is somewhere you can’t leave Jerusalem without having visited. One can spend several hours here and still not be able to read and watch everything. But you will leave the place with a lot of understanding about the history of the Jews and human atrocities.

We will walk later to Mount Olive and enjoy the Garden of Gethsemane. The Garden of Gethsemane is where Jesus was arrested and taken away before the crucifixion. Some sites in Jerusalem have been disputed and moved over time, but there is no such ambiguity with this garden; all gospels agree this is where Jesus was arrested, and the site remained the same place. We will enjoy a sunset at Mount Olive and then return to our hotel for dinner and accommodation.

Day 4: Historic tour of Bethlehem

Visiting Bethlehem can be done separately from the group or with our guide. It might be one of the holiest sites in Christianity, but you don’t have to be religious to enjoy a trip to the city. It’s a nice place and was a bit more modern than expected. It is a charming and fascinating place to see with your own eyes finally. We will visit the Church of Nativity; This is why almost everyone comes to Bethlehem, to see the spot where Jesus was born. The church itself is fairly humble from the outside, and on the inside, it is fascinating and impressive. We will end our day with a stroll in the old town of Bethlehem to enjoy arts and crafts, medieval workshops, and traditional markets. Return to the Hotel for dinner and accommodation.

Day 5: Mitzpe Ramon - Ein Avdat National Park

The second part of this Israel itinerary will head into the desert landscapes known for their beauty and mysticism. Here you’ll find epic canyons, amazing hikes, incredible snorkeling, and the continued feeling that this land is somewhere exceptional.

Our Discovery tour of Israel will take us today first to Ein Avdat. We saw lots of ibex in this area and a pair of rare Griffon Vultures. This is a popular place with Israeli families, and you can take a short, flat walk (roughly 10 minutes) through the canyon to a series of natural pools, which you used to be able to swim in but sadly no longer. Later on, we will discover the Grand Canyons of Israel. Mitzpe Ramon is the world’s largest erosion crater, over 40km long. There are plenty of hiking opportunities, but you don’t need to walk to see the area’s many sites.

You will be offered 3 miles of hiking in the Ardon and Harut Hill track to feel the desert. Otherwise, you can stroll around the visitor center. Dinner and accommodation will be in your hotel.

Day 6: Ada Canyon and the Red Sea

Today, we will explore the marvels of Ada Canyons' natural landscapes. If you like to hike, you are offered a 7km breathtaking desert trail. If you love narrow slot canyons surrounded by stunning scenery - and we hope you do because there are a few on this itinerary.

After working up a sweat at the canyon, it's time to cool off in the world-famous Red Sea at Eilat. You can choose between diving or snorkeling and go as part of a tour or independently.

Day 7: Red Canyons

After breakfast, We will explore one of the best natural sites in Israel, the Red Canyon. If you only pick one canyon from our itinerary, make it this one! This canyon is magical, nothing short of spectacular, and if you go in the early morning, you should get the whole thing to yourself. Return to Eilat for the afternoon to enjoy the Red Sea at leisure. Dinner in the Hotel.

Day 8: Massada and the Dead Sea

Our historical tour to Israel will take us today to southern Israel through the Judean Hills and past the Inn of the Good Samaritan. We will stop at sea level for a fantastic photo opportunity, then continue our descent down beneath sea level towards the iconic Dead Sea. Our first stop will be at Masada, where we will take a cable car to the plateau summit and visit the remains of Herod’s 2055 years old palace-fortress. We see remarkable structures, including palaces and a bathhouse. We will keep going on our biblical discoveries of Israel traveling from Masada across the desert oasis of Ein Gedi and Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Our afternoon will be leisurely, enjoying one of the Dead Sea beaches. You can try to swim or float in the salty water that is 8.6 times more saline than the ocean creating natural buoyance. Use the Dead Sea mud as a natural skin mask soaking up the warm Dead Sea sun. Dinner and accommodation are in Tel Aviv.

Day 9: Tel Aviv at Leisure

A morning to remember its sunrise. Don't skip this bit if you think a 4.30 am wake-up call is too much on holiday. Just go a little later instead! If you can drag yourself out of bed in the middle of the night to witness the sunrise over the Dead Sea, you won't regret it. We consider this morning a great highlight of the trip. You can do this as part of a tour or independently. It's straightforward to do yourself. We will travel back to Tel Aviv. The rest of the day is leisurely exploring Tel Aviv your way. This is a great place for shopping and dining.

Day 10: Tel Aviv Airport

In the morning, we will transfer you to the Airport for your flight back home. See you again on our other tours to Israel.
